PRS 24 SET NECK

SOUGHT AFTER '95 AMERICAN MARKET 20th ANNIVERSARY MODEL

Not many of these anniversary's around with classic Moon inlays rather than BIF's and this one is pretty much mint with no issues or marks of any kind that we can find.

All of our guitars are carefully selected and this one had to be even better than our own high standards as it was bought for the boss to replace his own one that had seen better days. We purchased it just a short while ago but a delay in delivery ( couriers fault not the sellers ) meant that it didn't arrive as planned and as it was needed urgently the boss went out and spent the day looking for another one.       Amazingly he managed to find a pre-factory Santana 1. . . . .  no contest there then !    Mind you at £5k+ no comparison on price either !!!

As a result we decided to just turn this one around, all we've done is examine it and given it a full pro set up, lemon oiled the fretboard etc etc. The condition is excellent and although it's a very sought after 2005 version of the '95 standard it's as good as many new guitars in your local shop with no noticeable marks anywhere. Pups are HFS and Vintage with the usual 5 way coil tap. Whilst it's great to look at the main feature is it's sheer playability with a resonance that's almost acoustic. The neck is Standard, about the same feel as a '60's Les Paul but a little wider.  As usual, this pup combination works really well and coupled with the standard PRS build quality the result is an   excellent players guitar with classic looks rather than the usual glitzy 22 fret models that tend to rely more on 10 tops, bolt on necks and birds to trap the buyer as they are much easier to produce.  A good article on 24 frets as opposed to 22 can be found at the link below. So all in all, if you are into PRS, this guitar is about as good as it gets from a players point of view unless of course you can sell a kidney, the wife, mother-in-law and just about anything else you can find to raise the £5k+ for a pre-factory job. We bought the guitar at a bargain price and having given it a full service and pro set-up we value it at around a sensible £1350 especially at this time of year when most of us are living on beans on toast after the Christmas madness. But it's for sale at just £1150 and comes complete with the usual PRS factory case which is excellent and all related paperwork, tools etc.
