Due to the number of enquiries we are receiving to
purchase our freshwater technology for raising both saltwater and freshwater
species with our Oroborus system it soon became clear that we had to
rationalise our whole approach. Waiting lists are already building up and
having to travel all over the world to help with the installation would only
make the lead times for so many projects much worse. Add the fact that our
technology is a little complex to install and we had to find another way to
supply our potential clients.
Although it is up to the client to build the tanks, much
cheaper that buying from us and shipping them, we had already standardised
our revolutionary tank design via CAD drawings so that they can be applied
to almost any size tank up to 53m long x 18m wide x 4m deep producing an
average of 70 tonnes of fish each year. The drawings can be proportionately
reduced should the client want a smaller tank.
What was needed was a way of supplying the client with the
technology itself on site without us having to travel to all parts of the
globe to install it.
Hence the Oroborus Module.
We have now made the Oroborus system an integral part of a
20ft shipping container, sectioned off with a small office / feed
storage area included. When it arrives on site all the client has to do is
connect up the external pipe work and electrical supply and the system is up
and running. Plug and play technology that is the most advanced Aqua culture
system in the world suitable for either freshwater or marine species.
Prices are from £55k to £65k depending on the tank size
and selected species. We can even supply systems capable of running two
tanks in tandem if space is a problem.
